Dr. Vijaykumar Malladi

Dr. Vijaykumar Malladi is a practising Minimal Access Surgeon in Navi Mumbai and Kharghar. He offers his services towards problems in general surgery and surgical gastroenterology. He is a Founder Member of Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India (AMASI). AMASI is a subset of its parent body - Association of Surgeons of India (ASI), responsible for spreading awareness and training laparoscopic surgery to the medical community. Dr. Vijaykumar Malladi completed his graduation and post-graduation from Mumbai University. During his Masters in General Surgery, Dr. Vijaykumar Malladi received the “Dr. Gool Contractor Memorial Award”, awarded for the best Trauma registrar – 2001 by Staff and Research Society, L.T.M Medical College & Hospital, Sion, Mumbai.

Dr. Vijaykumar completed a Basic-One-year laparoscopy training in Mumbai at Shrikhande Clinic, under one of the pioneers, Dr. Anand G. Nande. Next, Dr. Vijaykumar was selected for a two-year fellowship at GEM hospital, Coimbatore, under the guidance of, Dr C Palanivelu – a world renowned laparoscopic surgeon. Dr. Vijaykumar Malladi has published several scientific papers in peer reviewed indexed medical journals about Laparoscopic surgery.
